My original intention was to get all the posts on the seven deadly sins up before Christmas but it looks like this will be impossible due to lack of time. Michaela has been out of school all week due to a terrible stomach bug and I am packing stuff for the move. It's hectic around here.
Well, I might not be able to post about the seven deadly ones right now but I'm sure getting plenty of opportunity to conquer them! Sorry about the delay. I'll tackle the remaining sins after things settle down a bit around here.
I hope everyone is having a blessed Advent!
Best wishes to you and yours. I pray your daughter gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Ah, viruses and the holidays. How they do go hand in hand.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas. Stop and smell the ro.. err, coffee every once in a while.
Praying for good health to Michaela and for a stress free move for all of you!
ReplyDeleteYour new place looks lovely! So peaceful. Moving takes a lot of time - do what you need to do.
ReplyDeleteHope Michaela is better soon.
Praying for you! Hope Michaela is better soon and you are able to find some moments of peace amidst the craziness.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a busy time. I'm so sorry you have sickness, too. Have a merry Christmas, filled with the joy of Christ Child's presence.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Mary and your family. May the Lord's protection surround you. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! When do you move into your new home? This is happening fast, but when the Lord decides to give us something, He doesn't waste any time. I hope Michaela recovers quickly and doesn't pass the bug off to you and your husband.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathryn,
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you and your family are well! I'm praying for you too!
Hi Pamela,
ReplyDeleteThankfully, Michaela is much better! I wish you a Merry Christmas too :)
Hi JBR,
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon, my friend! Sending you a big hug!
Hi Barb,
ReplyDeleteThe closing is Dec. 30th so we will be moving sometime in January. We are excited!
Michaela felt much better Friday. I was glad she went to school because my elderly dog, Zeb, died Friday and it would have been too much for her. You know how it is because you love dogs too and understand how difficult it is when they die.
God bless you, Barb :)
Oh Mary, I'm a dog lover too and I know the pain of losing a cherished doggie friend. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteYou too? It's hard when they die, isn't it? They are worth it though! God bless you too, Noreen!
ReplyDeleteHope she is feeling better and that you are having a wonderful last week of Advent!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
It was 8 years ago when Max died and I was heartbroken!! We did get a new dog quickly because I didn't want my husband to get used to the idea of a house without a dog... and liking it! Now my Toby is 8 years old and is starting to slow down a bit. I pray he has many more years with us!!
ReplyDeleteI hope Toby is with you for a long time, Noreen :) Aren't dogs sweet? I don't think I've met a dog I haven't liked! We still have our puppy but I miss Zeb. He was with us for 14 years and it's hard not having him around. No, I wouldn't want my husband to get used to a house without dogs either...lol (your comment made me smile).
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michael! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas :)

Merry Christmas. May the Lord bless you and your family. May the Virgin Mary share her joy with you and help you to approach the mystery of the birth of the Son of God. You enjoy the holidays. Merry Christmas.

Feliz Navidad. Que el Señor te bendiga a ti y a tu familia. Que la Virgen María comparta su alegría contigo y te ayude a acercarte al misterio del nacimiento del Hijo de Dios. Que disfrutes de las fiestas. Feliz Navidad.

And to you, Javier!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family, Mary! I hope you are able to rest and enjoy the celebrations before your big move. How good God is! You must be very excited.

ReplyDeleteMissing you, Mary!
ReplyDeleteHi Colleen! Happy New Year :) I hope to be blogging again toward the end of January. This packing and moving stuff is harder than I thought. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy! I hope you and the crew are doing well. Wishing you all wonderful 2012!

ReplyDeleteHi Bernie! It's so good to hear from you! I hope you have a wonderful 2012 too!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Mary! I imagine you'll be back soon, right? Hope your year is off to a good start. God Bless You!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Mary! I know you are on a much needed blog break and in the midst of a move, but I hope you'll pop over to my blog when you get a minute. I chose your blog for a Liebster award. It's for deserving blogs which have fewer than 200 followers.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that you must have at least 1000 followers, but I used the count on your Google widget.
If you have time (!), you can pass the award on to five other bloggers.
Anyway, I miss you like everyone else, but hope you are enjoying your time away, and will soon be settled in your adorable new home.
Love to you,
Patricia
Happy New Year, Patricia! Thank you so much for the award! I'll pop over to your site right now.
ReplyDeleteI won't have internet access for a week or so starting Saturday (moving day) but I'll put up the award when I come back :) Thanks and God bless!
Hi Colleen :) Happy New Year to you too! I'll be back on blogger in a few weeks I think. I hope you and your family are doing well!
