You can try, try, try again.
Doesn't mean it will work though!
Every once in a while I like to check the keywords that bring people to my site. This week "wet girls in bathing suits" brought someone to my site, not once, but twice. To say I laughed is an understatement. I kept picturing the person's face when he landed here, no doubt sputtering, "I said 'wet girls in bathing suits', not 'humans bathing in the sea of God's mercy' ...you stupid computer!"
Surely, this is proof that God has a good sense of humor. He uses Googles "Floogles" (when Google flubs up) to bring people where they need to be.
Man plans, God laughs ;)
Mary that is too funny. I never thought about seeing what leads visitors to mine. I am afraid to now. Hee hee. Huggies.
ReplyDeleteAha ... one wonders which posts of yours they landed on when they Googled those words!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try this on my Blog. See what people are asking for when they read some of my posts!
God bless.
;-)))))
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Every so often something weird happens like that to me too, like the first time I googled Hebrew Alphabet and ended up with the front page all mysticism/magic sites rather than language and linguistic sites. 8-o
ReplyDeleteI hope sometimes our guardian angels mess with the google search returns, though, to give us what we need to see rather than what we asked for. :-)
That's just too good!! :-D
ReplyDeleteGrace,
ReplyDeleteYou've never looked at the keywords that bring people to your blog? You should - they are so funny sometimes!! Hugs to you, too!

ReplyDeleteVictor,
ReplyDeleteYou've never looked either? More than once I've considered doing a post on these keywords because I get some hilarious ones over here.
I tried figuring out which posts it brought them to but couldn't get enough info to put it together.
Colleen,
ReplyDeleteDo you ever look? Sorry about the Colleenchipcookie in my next post - I couldn't think of a good food you liked except m&m's (which I took) and your husband's cookies :)
Hi Madeleine,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
Jane,
ReplyDeleteYeah, it happens to me too. Uhm...not from googling the Hebrew alphabet though ;)
I agree with your comment about our guardian angels. Sometimes I unexpectedly land on something I REALLY need to see at exactly the right time!
Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteYou think he was happy about it? Lol!
That's AWESOME! Love the way the Holy Spirit works!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteOh it makes me laugh!! The Holy Spirit is always working!
I really enjoyed this. Yes, God does have quite a sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteWait, how do you do that? Check to see the keywords that draw people to your site? You should also check to see how many hits came from those words? Was it one of your most viewed posts?
ReplyDeleteHi Barb! I get all kinds of strange keywords over here. I wonder how Google gets things so wrong? Funny though!
ReplyDeleteHi Noreen! Go to your dashboard, hit stats, and then hit traffic sources. When you scroll down you'll see the keywords that bring people to your blogs. Usually you can tell from the keywords what post it probably brought them to by looking at which posts get hit around the same time frame. It gives you the number of times that particular keyword was used too.
ReplyDeleteI just did and think it's very odd. Not sure I get where all the traffic sources come from. Thanks for letting me know how to do this!
ReplyDeleteNoreen,
ReplyDeleteYou can click on the traffic sources and it will take you to them. Beware though, some are just advertisements and googlebots. Once I clicked on a traffic source and it took me to a soft porn site!
You can't click on the keywords though. God bless!
