Fait Accompli

Did you ever notice that Isaiah 53:5 reads "by his stripes we were healed". Not "are healed" but "were healed".

As in:

Done

Finished

Imagine that.

We were healed in Christ before we even knew we needed healing.

                                                 "It is finished."     Jn 19:30

Oh, the grace of it. The pure, unmerited grace of it.
