Everything matters. Every word spoken. Every word left unspoken. Every action and every failure to act. So often I hear the words, "Well, I'm not going to bother voting" or "Why bother speaking up about abortion? One person won't make a difference anyway." WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! One person does make a difference! Every word, every smile, every action DOES make a difference and one person CAN change the world.

Mother Mary simply said "May it be done to me according to your word" and changed the course of history forever.

  1. Oh yes. We cannot know how our words and acts will reverberate down the centuries. I had that insight this week when thinking of a large family whose home was the center for a children's choir I started in 2000. Today these young people are adults - some married with children. They still sing together. I taught them many great sacred pieces and Gregorian chant. We sang cannons by Mozart and others. Now they are teaching their own children what they learned from me. I can die happy knowing that I did one decent thing to help spread the Faith.

  2. Barb,
Exactly! Thank you for sharing your story :) Everything matters. This could get passed down through many generations! Every single one of us should build up the Church in some way.

  3. Thank you so much for your blog. It has touched me greatly.
