An interesting article on private revelation

  1. Excellent article, thank you. How easily we can fall into traps regarding private revelation, if the armour of discernment through Church teaching has not been built up. I am glad he points out the clear difference between 'unapproved' and 'false'

  2. pip,
I liked it, too. He walks the middle ground which I think is prudent. The Spirit shouldn't be stifled because that insults God and yet we must use wisdom in discerning these things. Mark Mallet has many charismatic gifts, as we all do, according to the bible. I think people have just forgotten about them. As for private revelation: some people throw them all out, they have forgotten that ALL things are possible with God and His will be done, whatever it may consist of. Because of some apparition sites, millions have been converted. Why would Satan want to convert millions? He wouldn't, but He throws a bunch of false ones out there so that people doubt the true ones also.

  3. Mary,
    Thanks for this link.
I sent your saint via e-mail late last night- hope you got it. It's not that I don't trust e-mail, but I don't :)

  4. This is Love-- <--if you don't want to read please watch the free videos. We only do this because we love you. This will prepare you for what is to come that the so called Christian world is not telling you. This is truth in its fullness. Please take a moment of your life to read or watch.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee... seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Many reject truth and follow after the ways of the world where they mix paganism with Christianity and such. This is open compromising with the Law of God. It is written in the book of Matthew 7:14 “Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Jesus loves you. Free movie for those that are SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST. --) This is your opportunity to receive truth.

  5. Ade,
Thank you for your concern but it is unnecessary :) The Lord Jesus Christ is my Savior and I trust in His saving power. He died on the Cross for all and I know the power of His love for me. The Holy Spirit guides those who love God and this Spirit of adoption was promised by our Savior. With this Spirit of adoption I may call God Father and I am His child. I trust in God's love.
I love this passage from Hosea and often read it:) May the Lord bless you and keep you! I will be happy to look at the sites you have mentioned as long as they don't attack other Christian faiths.
