After much pondering...

After much pondering, I have concluded it was a heretic. All saints are here and accounted for. Thank you, Jesus...

  1. Mary, you are so cute! I try very hard not to offend anyone. I think this in part keeps me from writing well. You can't please everyone. I sometimes wish I could just write whatever I felt like writing (like I do in my spiritual journal).

  2. Mary, I feel like the gullible, naive, clueless person that finally gets it.... I did not understand your posts in reader until I finally came here and read the comments. What a dork I am. I was really starting to worry about you! LOL! If I ever unfollow you, it would have to be a mistake because I wouldn't do that :)

  3. Sounds good to me Mary. Glad everyone was found.

  4. Esther,
    So are you :)
You write very well. Would you like me to send you a bit of my nasty streak?

Probably you'd like to pass on that. Still, it would hone down your followers list quick as a wink ;)

  5. Kathryn,
Did you just call yourself a dork?! Hmmm...better than a heretic I guess :) We got a bit sidetracked in the comment sections. Victor is a cannibal. At least I have manners and use a bib.

  6. Hi JBR,
Well, yes, everybody but the heretic. All the saints are still here though so that's a relief ;)

  7. I love your sense of humour, Mary! With just a few sentences you have entertained me greatly. Thank you!

  8. Can I just point out something? The word "dork" isn't a kind thing. It means a mans unmentionables. Look it up if you don't believe me. I try very hard to never use it. :)

I rarely comment any more anywhere and yet I expect people to lavish comments on me! HA! I'm going to try harder to comment when I come by.

    You always make me smile.

  9. Mary, where would I be without your humor? I love your blog.

  10. I'm glad it entertained you, Sue :) I need regular breaks from serious posts. I was giggling about your post "The Lost Head" too. What are the odds of one statue's head being lost and the other statue getting broken by the very person who was supposed to fix it? Good thing your friend is so nice!

  11. Sarah,
Are you pulling our legs? I thought dork meant geek. Are you sure you aren't referring to the word d-ck. And, no, do not insert a u. Maybe it just means a man's unmentionables in Hawaiian ;)

You DO know that I'm going to google it, don't you?

  12. Thank you, Barb! By the way, do YOU know if Sarah's correct? Because I never heard of this before but if she's right I'm not saying dork anymore!

  13. Errrrr...that would be incorrect, my friend! Nice effort though! "I" am not going to tell you the correct vowel to insert. "I" do not want to be responsible for scandalizing your pure heart :)

  14. (blush) I absolutely would not use that word if I thought it meant that. Will have to just use the word geek I guess, because that is what I meant. Sorry Sarah to offend!

  15. Kathryn,
Sarah has a good sense of humor and I'm sure she got a kick out of letting us know this ;) I googled it too and she was right! It IS slang for...well...a man's unmentionables. But, alas, it's too late, we already mentioned it! Lol!

  16. Mary, your comments are much more entertaining than my posts. I think I will give up blogging and just come here for a laugh! Thanks for the kind words about my story. Not as good as a discussion over the meaning of a certain now unmentionable word though.

  17. Sue,
I have no idea how the comment section went from heretics to a man's mentionables (since we already brought it up).

I love your blog, Sue! I laugh over there too...and cry. God bless.

  18. Mary, you are correct: I am not offended at all! I laugh all the time when I hear this word bandied about and I know so few don't really know the slang meaning of it. We mean EEJIT, so why don't we just say that? :) Love y'all to bits and you know it! Aloha!

  19. Sarah, glad to hear you laughed about this! :) I don't know what EEJIT means either, but you don't have to tell me, maybe I don't want to know :) I tend to be kinda clueless and naive about slang terms. Too bad it's not that way with the straight 4 letter bad words.
