Not commenting on my own post (though I'm not above that) - just checking the combox since I had to switch to embedded instead of pop-up ('cause I was having trouble commenting back). I have been having difficulty commenting on Blogger period lately and can't figure out why. Figured I'd try switching to see if it makes a difference here at least.
The only statistic that matters with our Blogs is whether Jesus is reading it.
As for being bitten .... all I can say is:
There was a young man called Fred Heath Who wore a new set of false teeth One day in despair He forgot 'em on a chair And eventually got bitten underneath!
Mary, I have nominated this blog for a Sunshine Award. I think it has been nominated already, but why not again? After all, it's super sunny! You can find the link here: http://thebreadboxletters.blogspot.com/2014/01/awards-kisses-ricky-nelson-and-uh-oh.html
Mary, I enjoyed my slice of humble pie. Yum! Guess where my most faithful reader is from? Mountain View, CA :) I've been wondering for a long time what they find so fascinating about my blog, and why they haven't finished reading the entire thing yet. That is SO funny! Now I have to find a new fan...lol. Today I had something weird...43 visitors in one hour. Go figure. The rest of the day was pretty slow. I agree with Victor, that you deserve at least a dozen Sunshine awards. Thanks for always making me smile...giggle....laugh...out loud. ;)
I rely on Vampire stats all the time. They boost my numbers very significantly. As long as I don't look at the traffic sources, I can smile and think, "Hey! I'm popular today. Might be worth writing another post."

Hi Victor,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist poking a little fun at myself!
Your poem is quite witty
With quite a bit of sass
But are you trying to tell me
The teeth bit him in the ...?
LOL! I am blushing!
DeleteGrin...so sorry, Monica! But that is what he meant, right? Behind, that is.
Delete...behind?

Thanks for adding sunshine to my day!
Lol! You just gave me a good reason to ignore the traffic source stats!
