Dedicated to my Lord Jesus Christ in thanks for His infinite mercy
It truly is the perfect prayer, the one taught to us from Jesus. Thanks for your thoughts...it is so important to stop and really reflect on all of the words. Great post, Mary,Andie
The Our Father prayer is perfect! I love to pray it slowly, in the way that Saint Teresa of Avila suggests... letting each line sink it. Your post contains wonderful explanations of each line. I remember first learning the prayer when I was seven and not knowing what it meant. I suppose even now we can miss certain aspects of it...but you're right...reciting the prayer with meaning and from the heart creates powerful change.
Thank you, Andie! I'm glad you enjoyed the post!
