Rogation Days
Barb at Suffering with Joy has posted a very interesting post concerning the Church's observation of three days of penance preceding the Ascension called The Rogation Days when the Church intercedes for the world. You can do this at home by praying Psalm 69 and The Litany of the Saints for these three days. Please read this very important post, especially in these days when this intercession is much needed. I will be joining Barb and I hope others will join in too! Thanks!

Thanks for this heads-up Mary! I look forward to learning more!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this Mary. I will be joining in as well.
ReplyDeleteAnne,
ReplyDeleteBarb's post on these three days is excellent! I felt very moved to join in.
Karin,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are joining in, too. The Litany of the Saints is very beautiful and I pray litanies like this all the time so this is a joy to me :)
I have to admit that I have a little trouble praying the end parts of Psalm 69 if you know what I mean ;) I aim it at the devil (lol).
There is a special place in heaven for you dear Mary, your guidance and dedication to God is so encouraging and uplifting to all of us....:-)Hugs
ReplyDeleteAnd if I die first, Bernie, I'll be waiting up there to greet you and give you a big hug! See you then :)
