Ouch! Get thee behind me Google!

How come Randy gets word verifications like "fromtheiam" and I get words like "puddlepoo"? Yesterday he actually got the word "bible" as a verification word. My mouth dropped. "You are lying, buddy! Noooo way on earth did you get bible!" He just smirked.  I peeked over to the laptop and there it was - "bible".

Once I actually got the word "bigrump" for a verification word. Beat that one, folks. I was a tad offended that Google would refer to my behind in such a way. Politically correct they are not.

A word to the wise:

You would be booted off Webkinz in a flash for that one...and Club Penguin would bar you for at least a month.

  1. Mary, I love your sense of humour. Thank you for the smile. I once had the word 'trust'. Probably needed the reminder. God bless!

  4. You know, I never paid much attention to the "words" I just typed the "letters" until your post a few weeks ago about Randy's words.

Thanks for the laugh this morning!

  5. Funny! It's true ... those words are crazy if you pay any attention to them. I've zoned out like Mary B above lately, but now I'm sure I'll take notice again after reading your post.

    Thanks for the laugh!

  6. Colleen,
These (usually) absurd words tickle my funnybone :)

  7. Puff,
I assume the word verifications are to cut down on spam. The what? is a bit more complicated - it's a computer program that randomly translates ancient text which is another reason I laugh at these words. The attempts at translation result in these odd words but on occasion a "real" word will come through :) My explanation may be off a bit but this is how I understood it.

  10. Hi Holly,
I can't help but notice these words! I'm a bit of a word freak and love playing around with words in general so I laugh almost every day at the silliness of these words :)
