Oh No! Orange hair?

Yep. That's what I get for being vain. Day-glo orange hair. I guess I'll offer it up in reparation for my vanity;) I can swear that I hear my guardian angel snickering again.

Lord, it's been a rough week. Have mercy. I love you dearly, but the box said "Honey Blonde", Lord, not pumpkin. Well, the good thing is:
If there are any lice left at least they'll glow in the dark.

  1. And no pictures? haha

I'm sorry you had to go through that though! This is why I don't dye my hair ;)

  2. *chuckle* Oh...I hear ya. I am vain enough to have someone else color my hair since it WOULD be orange if I did it. God purifies in the least likely ways : )

  4. Allison,
Smart lady! I have only dyed my hair one other time in the past 15 years, usually I leave it alone. The other time I had it professionally done and when I left it was the exact same color as when I got there.

  5. aw...poor dear Mary...my daughter in law had a similar experience on her lovely long hair..trying to bleach out a dark color...after the hair began to fall out in chunks...she was forced to cut it pixie short! Sorry for your mishap:) Pumpkin's a nice shade sometimes:)

  6. Judy,
Please don't tell me my hair will fall out in chunks, I had enough pixies as a tot ;) Pumpkin is a temporary shade I hope!

  7. Sorry, can't help it but I am chuckling. It's only hair Mary, it will grow back or perhaps you can change the color soon. Be well my friend and I so love your sense of humor.
    ......:-) Hugs

  8. Bernie,
Only the top is orange, the rest is pretty. If it wasn't for the top I would like it. Hugs to you too, my friend :)

  9. Orange .... pumpkin ....

OK ... let's be positive here and turn the situation to advantage.

Save the packet of dye and try it again on Haloween. You'll start a new trend in the neighbourhood and you'll be famous for your pumpkin head.

    God bless you.

  10. Victor,
Lol! And then my 6-year-old will want to copy mom :) I'm going to leave it like this as a reminder to myself and offer it up as an act of humility;) We can certainly see by the trials of the past couple weeks that the Lord is trying to humble me:) I hope it works!

  11. Besides, the Lord brings good out of everything and I am certain that He loves pumpkin heads enough to bring good out of this ;)

  13. Elizabeth,
I was a little surprised but I actually thought it was kind of funny. Orange isn't necessarily worse than mousy brown, right? I was just trying to perk it up a bit :)
