"O afflicted one, storm battered and unconsoled"

This "word" has left me shaken . I was given this "word" this morning and I have yet to receive a word for someone as powerful as this. I told the Lord that I needed a strong confirmation of this "word" and it keeps coming over me in waves. I know who this is for but I'm going to let this one stand on it's own, believing and trusting the Lord that this person will know in her spirit that it is for her.

" O afflicted one, storm battered and unconsoled,
I lay your pavements in carnelians,
and your foundations in sapphires;
I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of carbuncles,
and all your walls of precious stones."

I am aware of your interior suffering , my tenderhearted one, and yes, you are bringing me many souls. Do not doubt me nor the works I am doing in you. Trust in my love for you.

"Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken,
My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken,
says the Lord, who has mercy on you."

  1. Mary -

This is very deep. Interior suffering - Blessed Mother Teresa understood it well - we will all experience it in our faith journey.

I found your blog through Gabriella. So beautiful - the more I find those of the same mind, - I find comfort - comfort in community -in the image of the Holy Trinity.

    God bless you!

  2. Brian,
I read Gabriella's blog too; there are so many wonderful people out there.I,too, find comfort in community. For many years I have searched for people who love the Lord dearly and lately I have found many. The Lord is good! I am following your site, I was especially touched by the poem - Mary's Soliloquy.

  5. Yes Mary,
This brings tears to my eyes. I am crying. And this is what the Lord spoke to me through the words of another with a precious gift from Jesus at a retreat I was on. I think I mentioned this once on my blog. She spoke to me as if Jesus was speaking the words. Tears were running down her face. She said the same exact words to me. Also this day I received 2 separate words at the retreat. One was from the Prophet Isaiha and the other one was from Luke's Gospel where Jesus opens the scroll and says, "The spirit of the Lord is upon me; therefore, he has anointed me. He has sent me to bring glad tiding to the poor, to proclaim liberty to captives. Recovery of sight to the blind and release to the prisoners, to announce a year of favor from the Lord".

I have to be reminded from the Lord this day as it was a very prophetic day for me. It was a life in the Spirit Seminar at My Father's House retreat center in CT.
    Thank you sweetheart!

  6. Linda,
The Lord is good. I also went to a Life in the Spirit seminar, too! It was shortly after my conversion. One of the women there had a vision of me at the Lord's table and He was anointing me with oil. I don't know what it meant, though.

  7. So Cool! God has anointed you! I know he has. We are so blessed indeed! Even if we don't feel it and I don't know how but I suppose God is keeping it hidden within us.

  8. The time will come when it is clear who is God's and who isn't and I don't think that time is too far off. We are loved!

  9. True! I read a few years ago from an interview with the visionary Ivan from Medjgorie that Jesus will be coming in his (Ivan's) generation. I am the same age as him so I am thinking they almost all have gotten there 10 secrets, it may not be too far away. We are so loved by heaven and people don't realize what we owe Jesus in worship and praise!
